Watercolour on paper, c.1970. Yonge (1908-2010) worked for many years as Head of Studio for Courtauld’s, simultaneously teaching one day a week at the Central School of Arts & Design in London. She went freelance in the sixties and produced designs for the likes of Liberty’s and Edinburgh Weavers.
