An enamelled sandstone table lampbase by Luc Lanel, in the shape of an antique vase with elaborate handles, the reeded surface a cream colour. Mounted on a heavy black lead base. Soon to be rewired, PAT-certified and given a new lampshade (price is for base only) About Luc Lanel: Initially a silverware designer for Christofle, Luc Lanel then went on to work with his wife Marjolaine in their Neuilly workshop, pottery becoming his main activity from the 40s. His designs were exhibited at the Paris Colonial Exhibition in 1931 amongst other. This lamp is very distinctive of his highly textured, very geometric designs.
