A Royère-inspired Daybed

Compact daybed with wavy frames around the arms reminiscent of a larger daybed designed by Jean Royère in 1946 (see third picture, courtesy of Sotheby’s Paris, 2023).

Both arms drop to allow the sitter to recline. Recently reupholstered in a warm neutral, textured fabric.
